Bosque do Capão da Imbuia.

Este bosque era um local de mata isolada (capão onde existia muita imbuia, um tipo de árvore cuja madeira é de excelente qualidade para marcenaria. Doado à Prefeitura de Curitiba, em 1955, pela família Reginato, possui uma área de 39 mil m², onde imbuias, canelas e pinheiros centenários são preservados. O Bosque abriga e se confunde com o Museu de História Natural, onde se desenvolve pesquisas sobre meio ambiente.
Uma das principais atrações do Bosque é o Caminho das Araucárias. Trata-se de uma trilha de 400 metros de comprimento por dentro de um bosque natural de araucárias, com mata densa, onde 12 vitrines e painéis, ao longo da trilha, mostram as relações entre fauna e flora numa floresta de araucárias.
Capão da Imbuia Grove.

This Grove was a place of isolated bush (capão) where existed much 'imbuia', a kind of tree whose wood have an excellent quality for would cabinetmaking. Donated to the Curitiba City Hall, in 1955, by the Reginato family, it have an area of 39 thousand m², where imbuia, cinnamon and centenarians pines are preserved. The Grove shelters the Natural History Museum, that develops environment researches.
One of the main attractions of the Grove is the Pathway of the Araucarias, a track with 400 meters of length on the inside of a natural grove of araucarias, with dense bush, where 12 show-windows and panels, to the long one of the track, showing the relations between fauna and flora in the araucaria forest.

Em cada bairro da periferia da cidade foram implantados estes "Faróis do Saber" contendo biblioteca e sala de informática, para uso público, principalmente de escolares. Este está situado no bairro de Santa Quitéria.

In each periphery quarter of the city these "Lighthouses of Knowledge" had been implanted containing library and room of computer science, to public use, mainly by students. This is situated in the Saint Quiteria Quarter.

Em cada bairro da periferia cidade estão implantadas as "Ruas da Cidadania", que são um complexo composto por escritórios regionais dos principais serviços públicos estaduais e municipais (água, luz e telefone), agências de correio, postos de saúde, ginásio coberto para práticas esportivas e terminal de transportes urbanos. Esta é a Rua da Cidadania implantada no bairro da Fazendinha e também inclui um "Sacolão" (mercado de víveres, onde se pode comprar hortaliças e frutas a R$ 0,69/kg da compra).
Citizenship Street.

The 'Citizenship Streets' are implanted on each quarter of the city periphery, and are a composed complex with the main regional offices of the state and municipal public services (water, energy and phone), post office, public health care, covered gymnasium to sports practical and a urban transports terminal. This is the Citizenship Street implanted on the Fazendinha quarter and also includes a "Sacolão" ('big bag' - market of victuals, where we can buy greens and fruits with US$ 0,23/kilo of the purchase).

Parque dos Tropeiros.

Foi criado em 1994, com uma área de 174 mil m², para homenagear o ciclo histórico do tropeirismo. É um parque sobre a cultura gauchesca. Possui cancha de rodeio, camping, palco, museu, churrascaria e um bosque de mata nativa. A fundação da cidade de Curitiba está intimamente ligada ao ciclo do tropeirismo.
Tropeiros Park
Curitiba, Brtazil.
This park was created in 1994, with an area of 174.000 m², to homage the historical cycle of the 'tropeiro'. It's a park about the culture of the 'gaúcho' (natives from the State of Rio Grande do Sul). It has a rodeo arena, camping, covered amphitheater, museum, rotisserie and a grove with native bush. The foundation of the city of Curitiba is intimately plugged in to the cycle of the tropeiro's culture.
NOTE - The 'tropeiro' is a herdsman who conduces 'troops' of mules, horses and/or cattle to sell them in the market.

Tangua Park

Parque Tanguá
Curitiba, Brasil.
Inaugurado em 1996, o Parque Tanguá surpreende pela sua beleza e preserva áreas verdes próximas à nascente do Rio Barigüi. Ocupa 235.000 m², em local de um antigo complexo de pedreiras desativadas. Pode ser visitado de barco ou a pé. O conjunto do parque inclui, também, um mirante, ciclovia, pista de Cooper e lanchonete. Localiza-se no bairro do Pilarzinho e está incluído no roteiro do ônibus Linha Turismo, que parte da Praça Tiradentes, no centro da cidade.

Tangua Park.
Curitiba, Brazil.
Inaugurated on 1996, the Tanguá Park surprises for its beauty and preserves green areas next to the spring to the River Barigüi. Occupies 235.000 m², on one old complex of disactivated quarries. It can be visited on boat or on foot (hiking). The set of the park includes a belvedere, bike way, cooper's track and snack bar. Situated in the quarter of the Pilarzinho and is in the Linha Turismo script (tourism line), a bus that part from the Tiradentes Square, in the downtown.
